Learning Manifesto

The Learning Manifesto was a such a fun assignment to do!  This allowed me to think of all the ways that I have learned in my lifetime and how I have incorporated in my classroom these past couple of years.  This allowed me to think of why I teach. What is my “why?”  Many people have asked me “why are you getting your masters?”  Some think it is so I can teach older grades. I tell them that it could take me to other opportunities that might not happen without a masters (maybe a Technology Learning Coach or something else.)  Really, I just love to learn! I love to collaborate with other teachers and see how they use things in their class. It has been wonderful to start this masters right before school starting, so I can start the school with these ideas that we have read and discussing about.    
The COVA (choice, ownership, and voice with authentic learning) model that we were introduced to and I am going to be using this in my classroom as start my Makerspace area.   As a teacher of an applied learning school, I plan to sit down with my principal and my professors with the subject on how our school can have all the concepts of the COVA model.  
I hope that you enjoy my iMovie which I incorporated Pic Collage and Seesaw it in.   I made an acronym with the letters  LEARNING MODEL.
